What’s your favorite meme?
This will date me, but once, for Halloween, I was the ERMAHGERD girl. I had the vest, the Goosebumps books, the whole nine yards. So that meme will always have a special place in my heart.

What’s your super hero costume?
N7 armor, though in reality I’d be more of a Conrad Verner than a Commander Shepard.
What book inspired you to become a writer?
My earliest influence was probably Tamora Pierce’s Song of the Lioness series, but I used to read tons of fanfiction too. (And I wrote some. Which I will be taking to my grave.)
Favorite genre?
SFF, romance, mystery, and thriller. Bonus points for dark comedy and unique magic systems. (I will also never turn down a Beauty and the Beast retelling.)
Favorite classic?
Pride and Prejudice. Enemies-to-lovers is my kryptonite.
What book is on your TBR list or nightstand?
I just finished The Thursday Murder Club, so I’m very excited to sink my teeth into The Man Who Died Twice.
What’s your writing routine?
I listen to an audiobook for about 10-15 minutes before I get started. It’s almost meditative. And while a great book always makes me want to write, a not-so-great book REALLY makes me want to write because I’m already imagining what I’d do differently.
